Looks Good, Feels Good, Fits Great

To be honest it's very hard to find shoes that will fix my feet perfectly. So I purchased the True Fix insurance. I ordered the unisex wide width 10.5/12.5. They came early during the Thanksgiving bowling break. Once back on the lanes I was excited to try the shoes. The shoes fix great, worked great, and there was not sticking or slipping on the approach. Usually there are some concerns when breaking in new shoes. Much to my surprise there wasn't any. The shoes slid easy and the stopping heel worked as it was intended to. No slippage on the lead off foot when there is with most bowling shoes. I was so satisfied with them that I ordered two more pairs the next day. Thanks for having them in my size in wide width and the price was right.

Nice

I would say these for more like a regular wide at least in the smaller sizes. I wear a 7ee (womans) and these were tight around the toes when when loosened all the way.

Pros:

Nice looking, fraction of the price of Linds

Nice looking, on the narrow side

These are nice looking shoes, little on the narrow side. I either wear a 8.5W or 9 and these 9W are a little snug, but should loosen up with wear. The question I have is these are advertised as little slide. Tried them for the 1st time yesterday and darn near fell down. The soles on the pad of the foot on both shoes were so slick I felt like I was on ice skates. I took a gentle brush to them to try and rough up the soles a little to get more traction. I even applied rosin and things improved a little, but still too slick. Had to take small steps and creep up to the foul line. I used a more abrasive to rough up the soles a bit, and will see if that works the next time I go to practice. If that works, will likely update my rating to 4 stars.

I have been using an old pair of Linds for the past 20 years.

How much wider is the ee than a standard shoe? Who are they usually made for? Do most bowling centers use wide on their house shoes cause they always feel wide to me?

The EE will be a bit more wide than the regular D width. Usually the bowling centers will have standard width bowling shoes.

Question:

I ware a 10.5. What size do I need in these

10/16/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

It is hard to say how this shoe will fit compared to other brands. This shoe is the wide width version so if you do not wear wide normally then you may want to look for the standard width. You may also check the True Fit Guarantee option to see if this option may be helpful. To see the details of that click the "?" beside the option.

Question:

What does "provides little slide" mean? Don't you want to slide on your sliding foot?

7/30/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This shoe will have slide soles on both feet but this is a base model for performance so the slide pads on this model are not as high of quality as some of the higher performance models so it may not slide as much as some of the more advanced 3G model shoes. If you like a lot of slide you may want to look for another model but if you do fine with rental style of shoes and just need to get your own pair to get away from using rentals this would be a good alternative.
