Right out of the box, first league game was 290! 64-year-old bowler using a 6 year- old ball. I shot 699 and 721 first 2 series with the Linds Classic. I'd owned a pair 35 years ago that lasted 15 years. I had tried some Dexter shoes after that and decided to return to Linds. I'll never bowl with another shoe again! I purchased a pair of Linds 20 years ago. Best shoes ever as I have been bowling since the 1970's in an adult league. I purchased these shoes last year for Reno but left them home as I had not bowled with them before the Open Championship's. Last night Mar. 05, 2024 I decided I would take my new shoes to the lanes and left my old shoes home. I found the shoe heals (both) and the sole on my right shoe to be very tacky with a soft rubber and not hard as my old pair of Linds. My old pair of Linds at a size 9D seemed large but the new pair is not true to size or width. These are not the shoes to buy. If you cannot slide you cannot bowl. I do not recommend this shoe.

This is my 3rd pair of Lind's and these are the worst pair I have ever had. Hardly any flexibility I even replaced the insole for a more comfort fit and it didn't help. I am taking a lost with these because I don't think I can get a refund for them. I will be mailing them back. My wife bowls and she is still wearing my 1st pair

Generally speaking, you would wear a size to a size and a half smaller in men's shoes. If you wear a size 8 women's shoe then I would try a 7 or 6.5 men's shoe.
