No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Don't fit
They have a lip on the front of the sole and it is supposed to slide into the front of the shoe. They questions on this page ask if they fit any dexter shoes and the answer says they do. So I bought them because I do not like to slide. Well come to find out they do not fit my dexter shoes. There is no place to slide it on the front.

Yes, this sole can be cut-to-fit. You may have to align the pad so the flex bar lines up with the shoes flex bar and then trim the excess from the outer edge of the shoe using a heavy pair of scissors or a box cutter. You may also use the previous sole from your shoe as a template to know how much to cut off.

After checking on this further with Dexter they now say that the Large will fit a size 11 and up. The size Small fits 10.5 and lower on men sizes.

Yes, the side that is not pictures is the velcro side that would stick to the bottom of the appropriate Dexter shoes that have the interchangeable soles.
