Dexter's THE 9 bowling shoes have a patented interchangeable sole design that requires specialized THE 9 Soles. THE 9 Soles feature HyperFlex Hinges to help align the sole to the shoe properly in the HyperFlex Channels. The Toehold Clip is comprised of an abrasion-resistant material that was created to resist toe drag damage. These soles are available in a variety of materials for different slide preferences.

If you have the Dexter THE 9 shoes then this THE 9 S8 pad will work for that shoe. You have to get THE 9 soles to work on the THE 9 shoes. But for the heels, the SST heels will be the ones you can get to replace the heels. There is not a special heel to get for THE 9 shoes. If you wanted more slide then you could go for the H7 heel to give you less brake and more slide.
