Hi Jazzy, if you release the ball with your right hand you would choose right handed shoes which would feature the left shoe being the slide shoe.

Hi Jim! This shoe is unique because the pads on both shoes are removeable and the pads will fit either foot. So the traction sole can go on the left or right shoe and the slide sole can go on the left or right shoe so this shoe can be right handed or left handed just by switching the pads.
