Hammer Raw Hybrid Orange/Black
Hammer created the Raw series of bowling balls to enhance an experienced bowler's arsenal and to offer beginners a performance option for their first bowling ball. The Hammer Raw Hybrid Orange/Black features the Raw Hammer core which is covered with the Juiced Hybrid coverstock then finished with a 500 then 1000 then 2000 grit Siaair sanding pad and finally polished with Crown Factory Compound. This combination of core, cover and finish gives this ball length with a strong backend and is ideal for light to medium oil.

what is the symbol for a symmetrical and asymmetrical ball

There is not currently a symbol to distinguish which balls have a Symmetric versus Asymmetric weight block but Asymmetric weight blocks are usually only found in higher performance bowling balls and just a few upper mid performance balls. Mid performance balls will almost always have a symmetric weight block which is the case for the Hammer Raw series.

You would need to get the measurements at a local proshop. If you have a drill sheet from a previous ball you had drilled then you can use that drill sheet to fill out our drill sheet.

There are a few Hustle bowling balls that have had the color blue so I could not be exactly sure which Hustle you are wanting to compare to but this is very comparable to the Hustle series. Both are mid performance for medium to lighter oil conditions. Both have similar polished finishes out of the box to give them good length and both have a similar strength of weight block so they should be pretty comparable.

The Raw hybrid and Electrify pearl are going to be very similar in overall hook. They also give you similar length with a strong backend hook in medium to light oil conditions. The cover on the Raw is hybrid which would normally read earlier than the pearl cover on the Electrify but the weight block on the Raw reacts a little later so this balances them back out to be very comparable.

If you like the length that this ball gives you but want something stronger on the backend and something that may be able to handle a little more oil then you could go up to the Web Pearl or the new Widow Ghost.

The Scandal was a high performance ball that was duller to read earlier on the lanes and worked mostly in heavy oil. This ball is on the opposite side of the performance scale because it is a mid performance ball for lighter oil conditions and reads later on the lanes. You could use this ball as a backup to the Scandal for when the Scandal is too aggressive and you need something to transition to in medium to lighter oil conditions.

The Ocean Vibe FCC Rating = Total-19.5, Finish-7, Core-6.5, Cover-6 and the Raw Hybrid FCC Rating=Total-21.5, Finish-7.5, Core-5.25, Cover-8.75 So the Ocean Vibe has a slightly stronger core but the finish and coverstock on the Raw Hybrid are stronger giving it a slightly higher overall hook potential.
