How slick is a #8 micro pad? I need shoes with a lot of slide.

The Slide 8 is the most common slide that is used and is the same number that is featured on almost every shoe that has a fixed sole. If you needed more slide you would have to get a shoe that offers interchangeable soles so you can go up to a slide 10 for more slide.

It is hard to say what "true to size" is. We have a lot of customers that order their most common shoe size and keep the first pair but we do also get an occasional exchange to go up or down in the size. If you have never had this brand before we would suggest the True Fit Guarantee option.
