Motiv Venom Recoil
Motiv is upgrading the Venom line of bowling balls with the powerful Venom Recoil. This ball introduces an asymmetric core to the Venom line called the Gear APG (Asymmetric Performance Gain). This core was designed to give ball drillers more drilling options. Motiv combines this core with the Coercion MFS Reactive coverstock and finishes it with a 4000 grit LSS. This ball offers a powerful yet smooth motion on light to medium oil conditions.

Question:
Need a ball with power and aggresive in 14 lbs
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Venom Recoil will be a strong hooking ball if you are bowling in medium to lighter oil conditions. The reaction is a smoother hook reaction because it can start reading some in the midlane and then good continuation on the backend.

Question:
HOW WILL THIS BALL (VENOM RECOIL) COMPARE TO THE DESERT TANK?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball will have a little more length than the Desert Tank and it will have a stronger hook potential. The reactive coverstock is going to help this have a stronger hook potential and also be able to handle a little more oil so it is good for medium to lighter oil while the Desert Tank is more suited just for lighter oil.

Question:
I think the Hammer raw is comparable to the Columbia 300 Beast. Is it or is the Raw a stronger ball. My house never puts out much oil so I’m looking for a ball that won’t over hook on dry so much.
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
I think all three options are going to be pretty close. The Motiv Venom Recoil, Hammer Raw series and Columbia Beast series are all mid performance balls designed for medium to light oil. There are different versions of the Raw and Beast so depending on which coverstock you get on those you may get slightly different reactions and lengths.
