This ball is designed to go straight so it would fall in our spare ball performance list. If you get in very dry lane conditions and you spin the ball it could hook some but it does not have any features to help the ball hook.

Most people will keep the same weight for their spare ball to keep a consistent feel. Some people do go lighter so they can throw faster and helps to keep the ball straighter.
