Roto Grip Winner
Roto Grip wants everyone to be a winner that is why they are introducing the Roto Grip Winner bowling ball. This ball takes the original Hotshot core and modifies it to decrease the RG and increase the differential in order to create more downlane reaction. This core is paired with the VTC-P18 Pearl reactive coverstock which maintains the balls traction all the way down the lane while storing energy for the backend. Out of the box this ball was designed to win on medium oil lanes.

Question:
The 12-pound ball has the same core as the 15-pound ball?
Have an answer to this question?

No in the 12lb weight the weight block has to change to account for the over all weight of the ball being lighter. So the reaction will be similar but the weight block is different.

Question:
Using a Crux Prime and wondering if the Winner would be a good step down when the oil starts to dry up a bit.
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, the Winner is a great option to give you more length and works well in the medium oil and some lighter oil conditions. It would be a great back up option to have after the Crux Prime is getting too strong on the lanes.

Question:
In preparing to polish the ball, is it advisable to sand the ball with a 1500 grit pad and polish. For dry lanes, your thoughts in using extends polish??
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
To get the 1500 Grit Polished finish Storm actually has a few steps. First, 500 grit abralon 30 seconds, all sides. Second, 1000 grit abralon 20 seconds all sides. Third, 2000 grit abralon 20 seconds all sides. Fourth, 4000 grit abralon 20 seconds all sides. Last, Storm Step 2 compound polished lightly for 15 seconds all sides.
