Ordered 10-1/2 Wide (EE) and they are very narrow, 3/4" more narrow than my normal 10-1/2 Wide
I have to return them. I knew as soon as I saw them they were way to narrow. I thought I had been sent the regular size instead of the Wide (EE), but nope they are the wide. I wear different types of sneakers and I always wear 10-1/2 W, so I ordered that size. I measured and these bowling shoes are 3/4" more narrow at every measurement than my normal 10-1/2 W I wear. I usually rent 11regulars at the bowling alley since they usually don't have 10-1/2W, and the 11's are snug but they work. I could not even get my foot in these 10-1/2W.

Not even close to being a Wide Width.
I have bought Dexter shoes for over 30 years now. Never had a problem with their fit. I wear a size 12 Wide. I bought a size 13 Wide just to be safe. When I put these on they were already pinching the sides of my feet without even tying them. Just looking at them when I took them out of the box I could tell they were not as Wide as they should be. Very disappointed. Time to switch shoe companies.

Wide width actually measures out as a D width
A 10.5 wide width is supposed to be 4.4" wide. This shoe measures under 4", which is less than a D width.

Question:
Do bowling shoes fit same as daily shoe size? When I rent I feel like I always go a size smaller. What should I order?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
A rental shoe is used by a lot of different people and can often be stretched out because of this. That is why you may have to go to a smaller size on rentals than what you normally wear. Since this shoe is new it would not be stretched out and would likely fit like your regular shoe size. Please keep in mind we cannot guarantee the sizing will be an exact match to other brands.
