Question:

Can this ball be used to bowl straight

2/17/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This would not be ideal to use for straight bowling. It is a performance ball and has moderate hook potential so if you wanted the ball to go straight you would be able to get a less expensive ball that would be more designed to go straight instead of this one.

Question:

How do I compare this to the radical results plus

9/2/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

The Scorpion is a mid performance ball designed to read earlier on the lanes to give it a smoother arcing hook. The Radical Results Plus was a high performance ball that was designed to go longer and have a sharper backend hook on the backend.

Question:

I am a new bowler that bowls left handed , I shoots between the first and second arrow would this be a good ball for me?

9/9/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball was designed to read stronger in the midlane to give it a smooth arcing hook. Since this reads earlier you may need to be speed dominant to play this down the 1 or 2 second arrow or you may could use this in heavier oil and play more of this line but as you get down into medium oil you may have to move in some to get the ball to swing more.

Question:

i have a pearl envy. looking for a lil more hook

12/12/2023 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Hello! The Hammer Envy Tour Pearl is a high performance ball designed for medium oil lane conditions, so the mid performance Hammer Scorpion would not necessarily give you more hook. Depending on if your lane conditions are heavier, then you may look at some options such as the Storm Virtual Energy Blackout or the Hammer 3-D Offset Attack.
