Amazing!
This Mania is my first performance ball ever and I was worried I was in over my head! I had it drilled and slug with finger tips installed at local pro shop. Straight off I bowled a 156 on first game, average for me is 101 in league. I went on to 157 and 155 on next two games! I can’t wait to get better and learn this ball more!

The Black Widow Mania is a home run! I have been extremely impressed with how well it can be used to start close to the oil without being completely allergic to it, yet, it can also open up the lane in friction without having many issues burning up. I've been really impressed with the recent Hammer releases, and this one may top them all!

The Black Widow Mania is another great from the Widow Line. I've been looking for a Pearl Widow that was clean with a consistent backend motion. The Black Widow Mania is a Pearl Reactive with the HK22 Cohesion which gives this ball the clean and consistent motion off the spot that I've been looking forward to. This ball will definitely be a THS killer as well as a ball that may styles of bowlers will get plenty of use . This is a great compliment to the Widow 3.0 as well as a ball that can be used behind the new 3D Offset Assault. Another great Widow from Hammer!

I found if I let the ball roll off my hands very cleanly. This ball will almost returned from any point with a powerful roll…Omg they way it cuts through the pins is makes you feel like a pro bowler lol……. It gets through the front like a pearl, but finishes on the back end like a solid to me. This is the definition of a hybrid and it has no quit.

The Mania is now my new favorite BW ball.
This one is going to be my new favorite BW Ball. I drilled mine 60x5x25 the motion I get get with this layout is a super clean ball Thu the front of the lane and a very predictable motion to the pocket. I have this ball in between the 3D assault and the Effect.

Hammer Widow Mania
Recently, I had a chance to drill up the new Hammer Widow Mania, the latest in the iconic line of Hammer Widow bowling balls. Like all prior Widows, the Widow Mania has the Gas Mask Core. This Widow however, has the same coverstock as the Hammer Effect, HK-22 cohesion pearl colored in black and blue swirl. Box finish is 1500 Siaair with polish. The first one is drilled with my favorite pin down layout, 60 x 5 x 70. I've tried it on fresh THS. Being very honest, for as many people that loved the Effect, I never warmed up to it after trying it in different environments. I found it to be a touch too early going up the lane and not enough going around the pattern. I felt that I had better motion with the Widow 3.0 or the Track Theorem. The new Widow Mania will definitely be more usable for me. It's definitely cleaner than a Widow 3.0 and more response than the Widow 2.0 Hybrid. (And that is comparing a pin down Mania to a pin up Widow 2.0 Hybrid which I had previously drilled.) It shows that motion for which Widows are well known. To my eye, it is a touch earlier and rounder than a Theorem. I also will say this, I don't necessarily see this ball as a replacement for the Widow 3.0 but rather to complement it. The Widow 3.0 was definitely for higher volumes of oil and I think where the Widow Mania is cleaner and quicker, at box surface, the Widow Mania is best for medium volumes or also as a step down from a Widow 3.0 or perhaps another slower response asymmetric core ball. Like all Widows, I expect the Mania to work for many different styles and will potentially be in play on many different pattern distances depending on layout etc. The Hammer Widow Mania is now readily available! Black Widow Pink on steroids. The Black Widow Mania is clean through the front part of the lane and strong down lane. The HK22 with Cohesion pearl cover stock matches up great with the Gas Mask core. Early entry for ball of the year. The cobalt & black accented with the pink logo pass the eye test for sure.

I love this ball. It’s cleaner than the Black Widow 3.0, but more bite on the back. The HK22 - Cohesion Pearl cover gives this ball more back-end motion than the Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid. I have used it on both house and sport patterns, and it looks great on both. This ball works best in heavy to medium oil.

Beautiful and amazing
This Black Widow Mania not only looks good, but reacts smooth and aggressive on everything I have thrown it on. I have used on the fresh as well as 3 days of no reoil. I have it drilled like my other equipment, strong and it still does not over react leaving the bottom of the pattern.
