The Hammer Razr shoes compare to my old SST-6's. The heels do not replace, and are RH/LH specific - but the shoes are comfortable, the soles can change out, and you can't beat the price! Bought these for my husband. He said they are comfortable right out of the box. The slide is a bit stickier than his previous Hammer shoes but he expects that to correct itself with use.

Conformable but does not slide well
They are very comfortable and look nice but the rubber grip heel on the slide shoe makes it very hard to slide. Unfortunately it is not removable. I have never had a pair of shoes with a non-sliding heel on the slide shoe. I will probably try to sell them and buy something else. If you like to get low and slide long like I do, these are not the shoes for you. They are better for someone who does not slide.

This shoe is an EE width so you may want to get a little larger size to see if that helps with the shoe feeling slightly wider but it is hard to know how this will fit you exactly.

The heel on this is a fixed rubber heel to stop you. The sole is designed to help you slide and it will come with a slide 8 and slide 6 pad. The higher the number on the sole, the more it will let you slide. Other soles sold separately.
