This shoe is the solution to wide terrible feet.
I am always plagued with trying to find shoes to fit my wide damaged feet. Everything is a stretch, for regular shoes, there is wideshoes dot com. But no bowling shoes. These are perfect! I have gnarly bunions from the fun I had in my 20s, and everything hurts them. These bowling shoes feel like I am wearing my house slippers to bowl! If you like the classic bowling shoe look, and old school buckskin slide, and want shoes that feel like house slippers, then these are it. They came in nice individual storage bags for each shoe.

Bought as Christmas present so I can't review Performance of shoe..I'm just thrilled that I finally found a shoe that fits my EEEE wide feet . I attribute this to the lacing that goes down to the toes. Just lace them looser and "PERFECTO" I don't forsee any problems on the lanes ..This is a quality made shoe and I'm sure it will perform great.

Love these shoes, I would recommend them and buy them again
The shoes fit perfect! The amount of slide area under my new left shoe is about 4 times greater than my old shoes. On the heel area is a little extra room causing my heel to slide into them very easy without being loose. I am very impressed with the quality, fit, and comfort of these shoes. I am very happy I bought them and would buy them again!

Very comfortable shoes. I needed EEE width and these shoes have the width I was looking for. I like the classic styling and the out of the box quality. I have only worn them twice so far, but the early reviews are good.

2nd pair that I have ever owned
I have been bowling for 45+ years. When I was in my early 20's a friend of mine (who worked at a bowling supply store) recommended that I try a pair of Linds. I'm glad I listened to him as I had those shoes for 25 years. My average actually went up several pins over the next couple of months after my purchase. There were years when I would only bowl in one league but there were times when I would bowl in four leagues/week. This year the soles started looking quite wretched as the toe pad on my right shoe had come off and the sole on my sliding shoe was coming apart. I am now 49 and had to break down and buy my second pair of Linds. If these last as long as my first pair I could take these to the grave with me.

Returned original ordered pair for a smaller size. These have been on an extended time of back order. Customer service has been in regular contact which is good. The fault is obviously with the manufacturer (Linds) and NOT Bowling.com.

Won't Slide
I have a difficult time purchasing shoes with my EEEE feet. Many people said these shoes are true to size, so I ordered the men's classic wide. I was pleasantly surprised at just how well they fit. So off to the lanes I go. I stepped up to the approach for a practice slide or should I say almost face plant. I stood on the approach and practiced some push off's, still no slide, I added easy slide and had some slide. Long story short, I've made five attempts to break them in and they still won't slide without the use of easy slide. I left a voicemail at Linds to ask for assistance (breaking in procedures) with no response. I'm open for suggestions.

Question:
Hello, I have a 10 year old pair of Linds that need replacement. Last size was 10.5, but a bit tight in the sides, as well near the toe. I would think moving up to size 11, plus the widw width would be very comfortable. I'm assuming these are just a bit wider, not extreme, correct? Appreciate your feedback. Thank you, Duke

Answer:
Hi Duke! This Linds wide width is EEE. We recommend ordering your normal shoe size, but if the 10.5 is a little snug then 11 might be just the right fit.
