This tape hold up very well but if you have a conventional drill like myself, it may not work for you. I have to add tape inside the holes for the grip that I’m looking for. If you need tape strictly for protection this is the product for you. It has a tacky texture but it’s not extreme.

Saved my fingers!
I purchased because my middle and ring finger have bowling callouses. As a matter of fact, my phone and laptop often have a hard time recognizing my finger print. I did have to change my grips since I like a tight fit and I couldn't get my fingers in with the tape on. At first, I tightened the tape and I could get my fingers in with effort, but after a few frames my fingers were numb. So switching inserts worked better. I have the round end up and the grip from the tapes gives me great lift and revs.
