Track Cypher Solid

Track has a rich legacy of innovation in the bowling world, leading the charge in dynamic core designs and cutting-edge cover materials since its inception. One of its standout successes from the early 90s was the Synergy, a game-changer on the PBA circuit thanks to its groundbreaking core design. Now, Track is thrilled to reintroduce the Synergy core in the Cypher series, tailored for today's bowling landscape. Through intensive research and development, The Track team has cracked the code with Cypher, unveiling the next evolution in benchmark ball performance. Featuring higher RG and potent differential numbers, perfectly complemented by the MR-8 Solid cover in the HK22 base, Cypher promises to deliver consistent performance across various lane conditions. Smooth

If you want control this is for you. It doesn’t jump off the spot at all. The ball still has a lot of energy at the pins. I would consider this my benchmark ball in my bag.

Track Cypher

The track Cypher tracks newest benchmark ball. I was able to get good reading off of this ball when using it to start, the motion was very predictable. Everything I like in a benchmark ball. It responds very well to surface change.

Track Cypher

On the Kegel high street pattern this ball was very good from different angles and speeds. It picked up fairly early and had a nice motion that carried well from everywhere. Back at my home bowl on the house shot, the ball looked really good early when I was going more up the lane. As the lanes transitioned and I migrated left, the ball wasn't as strong around the corner. It would still strike on flush shots, but the half pocket hit wasn't there. But that is true of many bench-mark, dull symmetric pieces. This would rank better than most. I would give this ball a 4+ on a 5 scale.

Question:

How does this compare to the track sensor solid

6/16/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Both bowling balls have similar features and with both having a solid coverstock finished at 2000 grit out of the box. However, the Cypher Solid weight block is slightly stronger and reacts slightly later on the lanes to give this a little more angular movement. That is not to say it reads very late or has a sharp backend like a pearl cover or polished finish would but it will be longer and sharper than the Track Sensor Solid in medium conditions.

Both bowling balls have similar features and with both having a solid coverstock finished at 2000 grit out of the box. However, the upper-mid performance Radical Closer is more aggressive than the mid performance level Track Cypher Solid.

Question:

does this ball have an inner undrillable ceramic core?

10/16/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

I am not familiar with any USBC approved bowling ball having an undrillable core material so there should be no problems drilling this ball.
