Belmonte, Malott, Rash, Weber Nominated for “Best Bowler” ESPY; Voting is Underway

Voting is underway for the 20th annual “Best Bowler” ESPY Award, presented by ESPN. Candidates selected by ESPN for 2014 ESPY consideration are Jason Belmonte of Australia; Wes Malott of Pflugerville, Texas; Sean Rash, Montgomery, Ill., and Pete Weber of St. Ann, Mo. Brief bios for each player are listed in the voting section on espn.com.

To cast your vote, click on this link: https://espn.go.com/espys/2014/?voting=bestbowler. Click on the photo of each player to view the biographical information for that player. Click on the “submit” tab at the bottom of the player you’d like to vote for.

Voting ends on Wednesday, July 16, the date of the winners will be announced in the live ESPY telecast from Nokia Theater LA Live in Los Angeles.

Weber is the 2013 ESPY winner. He had previously won the fan voting competition in 2002 and 2004. Rash won the 2012 ESPY. Belmonte was the 2011 winner. Malott has never won the award.
