Crowning the First PBA League Champion

This season has born witness to many firsts, but crowning the first ever PBA League Champion will be something extra special.

Doing something special in the sport of bowling is nothing new for Pete Weber, especially after the show he put on for us all at the Barbasol PBA Tournament of Champions. Weber hopes his hot streak from last weekend carries over for him and the rest of the New York City WTT Kingpins as they look to bring home the title. A feat that will not be an easy one as the rest of the field is gunning for them.

The Elias Cup finals will determine the first PBA League Champion we've ever seen by incorporating the Baker team format. The championship match will be two games where total pins determines the winner.

The KingPins are owned by tennis legend Billie Jean King who will be in attendance to support her team at this weekends finals held at the Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis.

The four teams that advanced to the finals were the top point-getters after five PBA League qualifying rounds that were conducted as part of the PBA Detroit Winter Swing.

It should make for an exciting weekend of bowling in Indy with all of the great bowlers competing on teams against one another vying for a special place in PBA history!
