Yes, the slide soles can be replaced. Only the slide sole can be replaced on this shoe. The heels and traction sole are not interchangeable.

The regular width Dexter men shoes are considered D width. The wide width Dexter shoes are considered EE width. You may need to get the regular width version of this shoe.

Unfortunately, the traction sole is not removeable but we have some other options available in this style with slide soles on both feet. Those are listed as universal soles.

Sizing can be hard to know before hand. Different brands can fit differently from person to person so we would suggest to make sure you get a shoe that is not on closeout so that it can be returned or exchanged if the first shoe did not fit. I would also suggest the True Fit option because this can help make exchanging the same shoe for a different size easier, quicker, and cheaper.

We have some people exchange it because it is too big and others because it is too small so our best advice would be to go with your regular shoe size and you may want to get the True Fit option. This will help you exchange for another size of the same shoe model and makes the exchange process quicker, easier, and cheaper.
