Really nice pair of shoes, I replaced my hammer shoes with these and was very impressed. They felt broken in right off the bat due to them being knitted. I am will be buying another pair for my son.

How does this protect against toe drag compared to the sst 8 power frames?

The C9 soles have a toe clip which keeps the soles more securely attached to the shoe. The SST 8 does not have a toe clip on the soles so if the sole catches when you drag your toe it could peel back the sole and over time wear out the sole more quickly.

It is hard to say how the shoe will fit compared to other shoes unfortunately. We would suggest going with your normal shoe size and you may want to get the True Fit option to help if you need to switch up or down in sizes after trying the first one on.

This shoe can work for both right handed and left handed bowlers. The slide foot and traction foot both have interchangeable pads and you can put the slide on either foot and the traction on either foot make this work for anyone.

We do sell extra soles separately but you would have to make sure you select the Dexter THE 9 soles to fit this shoe because on the Dexter THE 9 soles have the toe clip option.
