Question:

please define " smoother " when comparing balls ...

9/2/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

A ball that has a smoother reaction will usually mean that the ball starts to read the lanes a little earlier. As a ball reads the lane earlier it will have more of an arc shape down the lane. So the opposite reaction of smooth would be angular. If a ball is angular then it will react very late on the lanes and hooks all at once in a very sharp hook.

Question:

For Medium Oil do I choose the Forge or the Rogue? Thanks

1/14/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Rogue Assassin is the better ball for medium oil. The Forge is designed for medium to heavier oil so it may be too aggressive by the end of the night if the lanes break down on the lower side of medium oil.

Question:

If you could only have 1 med oil ball’ would it be the Rip cord or the Rogue assassin,

7/19/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The key difference would be the length. The Rogue Assassin has a solid cover with a duller finish to read more in the mid lane and have a smoother arcing hook while the Ripcord is a pearl cover with a polished finish to read later on the lane with a sharper backend hook. So it comes down to your personal preference.

Question:

How does the motiv t10 compare to the rouge assassin

8/8/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This is actually a very close comparison. This has the same cover as the old Motiv T10 but it has a different weight block. The Rogue Assassin weight block starts reacting a little earlier than the T10 so that is the only slight difference.

Question:

Is the Motive Rogue similar to the Motive Jackel.

8/14/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This is not going to be as strong of a hook potential as the Jackal series. This is more suited for medium oil conditions and the Jackal series is usually designed more for heavier oil conditions. This would have a similar reaction on medium oil as the Jackal Ghost has on heavy oil.

My speed is in the range of 12 to 13 is a good ball for that?

9/3/2020 - By

Answer:

If you have a slower ball speed then this ball could still work well for you but it may be more suited for medium to heavier oil instead of just medium oil in that case.

Question:

Will the Motiv Rogue Assassin compliment my Venom Shock Pearl?

9/15/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Rogue Assassin would give a different read by reading more in the midlane while the Venom Shock Pearl goes longer with a sharper backend hook. Also the Rogue Assassin will work well in medium oil and possibly some heavy oil while the Venom Shock Pearl was good in lighter to medium oil so this could help you cover most lane conditions.
