Roto Grip MVP Pearl
The Roto Grip MVP Pearl bowling ball is an MVP among mid performance pearl balls. This ball uses the Neutron NXT core and the VTC-P19 Pearl Reactive coverstock. With a higher RG and medium differential the Neutron NXT core offers ample length as well as down lane motion for any bowling style. The coverstock formula allows more response to friction at the back of the lane than the hybrid version from Roto Grip. This ball is a go to ball for lighter oil conditions or when the lanes transition and a stronger ball starts to break too early.

Customer Questions & Answers | Reviews
Question:
Is it good as the black widow black gold
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The first difference would be the Black Widow Black/Gold is an upper mid performance ball designed for medium to heavy oil. The MVP Pearl is a mid performance ball designed for medium to light oil conditions. They have similar reactions in that they both go pretty long on the lane before reacting but the Widow is much stronger and works in more oil.

What's the difference between this and a Hustle 3TP?

Question:
Is this ball use for slow speed bowlers with speed from 9_12
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, this would be a good option for someone with a slower ball speed because it is designed to go longer on the lanes before it starts hooking. You would not want a duller ball that hooks earlier if you have a slower ball speed.

Question:
How much stronger is the idol pearl compared to mvp pearl
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Idol Pearl is a step up from the MVP Pearl. The Idol Pearl is an upper mid performance and the MVP Pearl is a mid performance so the Idol is going to be a stronger hook potential and handle a little more oil than the MVP Pearl.

Question:
Roto-grip mvp vs roto-grip mvp pearl
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The only difference would be the coverstock. The Hybrid cover in the MVP will read a little earlier than the Pearl so this makes the MVP also work better in medium oil while the MVP Pearl is better suited in medium to lighter oil.

Question:
I have a older 15 lbs Roto Grip Nomad and I am looking for a current ball at 14 lbs that has similar reactions. Is this the ball?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Nomad would have fit between the MVP and the Idol Pro actually. If you wanted something a little stronger you could go with the Idol Pro. If you wanted something with a little less hook then the MVP would be a good option. I hope this helps.

Question:
Can I use this ball after my Storm Phaze 3.
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, the MVP or the MVP Pearl would both work as a good option to transfer too as the Phaze III became too aggressive. They have similar length and the MVP series works down into lighter oil conditions better.

Question:
WHAT DOES RG2:55MEAN?. SINCE I HAVE A SLOWER BALL SPEED WHICH TOP WT. DO I SPECIFY? 3.5 OR 2.5>?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The higher the RG number the later the weight block reacts on the lanes. The lower the RG number is the earlier the weight block will want to react. If you have a slower ball speed then you may want a ball with a higher RG and a pearl coverstock like the MVP Pearl.

Question:
If I’m shooting up right side of the lane and hitting pocket would this work for me throwing about 15 mph
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, the pearl coverstock and polished finish will help this ball to read straight through the midlane and then have a sharper backend hook on medium to light oil conditions.
