Question:

How does this ball compare to motiv forge fire will it go longer

10/24/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are very comparable actually. Both are high performance and both have hybrid coverstocks. However, the out of the box finish on the RST-X is a little duller so it may read just a little earlier than the Forge Fire.

Question:

How does this ball compare to the frequency

11/6/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are similar in some ways because they both are high performance balls with a hybrid coverstock but the duller finish on the Frequency will help it read earlier and the weight block also on the Frequency reads earlier for a smoother hook. The RST-X is going to have a little more length but not too late like a skid flip ball. It will still read with a strong arc hook but just a little later than the Frequency.

Question:

would the RST X1 be good for a full roller

11/9/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this could work fine for a full roller but you just have to make sure your driller does a full roller layout so it reacts best with your release.

Question:

How does compare to the Storm Crux Prime?

11/22/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This will read a little later on the lanes and give you a little more angular hook than the Crux Prime. The RST-X has a hybrid cover with 3000 grit finish which will give you more length than the solid cover and 2000 grit finish on the Crux Prime.

Question:

How does this ball compare to the Storm Physix

4/26/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The reactions are going to be extremely close actually. Both are high performance bowling balls with a hybrid coverstock and finished at 3000 grit out of the box. The weight blocks for both balls in 15lbs will also have the same RG dif but the RST-X1 will have a slightly later reaction from the RG. This is only a slight difference though because so many of the other features are very very similar.

Question:

How does this compare with the Hammer Redemtion Solid?

5/11/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Redemption Solid would read earlier on the lanes than the RST X-1. The RST X-1 had a hybrid coverstock and slightly smoother finish at 3000 grit to help it go a little longer on the lanes saving more of its hook for a slightly more angular hook.

Question:

Would this ball be a good fit in between a hammer fugitive pearl and a rotogrip idol.

5/13/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball would actually be considered stronger than the Idol. Which the Idol has a slightly duller finish to help it grip earlier on the lanes the RST X-1 is considered a high performance ball while the Idol is an upper mid performance ball so this would indicate that the RST X-1 would be the stronger hook potential.

Question:

I am thinking about buying this ball, I have thrown it during demos and really like it, but I am wondering what balls it would pair with if I had a 3 ball setup without a spare ball

5/13/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you started with the RST X-1 as your first ball out of the bag for heavier oil you could have the Idol Synergy as a good medium oil option and then something like the Hustle RAP as a lighter oil option to give you a decent 3 ball arsenal.

Question:

How would it compare to a Scandal/S

7/8/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They would have a pretty similar reaction with the Roto Grip RST X-1 reacting a little later on the lane due to the weight block and also due to the slightly smoother 3000 grit finish versus the 2000 grit on the Scandal/S.
