Hammer Bad Ass
The Hammer Bad Ass is one bad ball. This ball combines the Spheroid core and the Juiced Solid coverstock to create a ball that will truly be offensive to your competition. The core was engineered to lower the RG while maintaining a medium to high differential, creating an ideal ball reaction. The core was poured with Flex-Resin and the outer core contains Carbon Fiber making this ball hard hitting and durable. The Juiced Solid coverstock is changing coverstock technology by providing a ball that maintains its reaction shape longer with unmatched friction at the breakpoint. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

Question:
What is the outcome of a generic core on a lighter ball? Will it perform as well as the spheroid core in a medium oil?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
In the lighter weight ball the weight block has to be changed for two reasons. First, if they kept the spheroid core, it would cause the weight block to be more of an influence on the lighter weight balls than the heavier balls and actually make the ball react different than the heavier balls because of this. The second reason is because they have to get the overall weight down in the ball and the weight block can make up a lot of that weight so it is easier to change the weight block than to try and make other parts of the ball lighter. The reaction will still be very similar with a different weight block but most of the reaction in the lighter weights will be from the coverstock which is the same no matter which weight you select.
