Motiv Raptor Fury
Introducing the solid Motiv Raptor Fury – now even more untamed and aggressive than ever. A true legend in its determined mastery of the bowling lanes, the Raptor series returns to unleash pure havoc. With its cutting-edge Leverage XFS solid coverstock and the relentless Affliction V2 core, the Raptor Fury stands as the most potent symmetrical choice in the MOTIV collection. It's an absolute essential in any bowler's arsenal.Carrying forward the legacy of its predecessors, the Leverage XFS coverstock technology has been designed to dominate the contemporary bowling landscape. Recent enhancements to the Leverage technology dig into the oil with precision, providing a touch more length and remarkable energy retention compared to the Jackal Ambush. This translates into enhanced down-lane motion and increased adaptability, shaping the Leverage XFS into a controlled benchmark tool for handling substantial oil patterns. The Affliction V2 core, the mightiest symmetrical core in MOTIV Bowling's arsenal, is a testament to the Raptor Fury's prowess. With its rapid rotation and low RG (Radius of Gyration), the Affliction V2 core delivers mid-lane strength and unmatched control. A remarkable differential of 0.055 equates to incredible flare potential for the Raptor Fury. While many bowlers tend to gravitate toward asymmetrical bowling balls for heavy oil conditions, the versatility of a symmetrical core presents a distinct advantage, offering exceptional continuation and reliability on the lanes.

How will this ball compare to Brunswick's Perfect Mindset?

Question:
How will this ball act on light to medium oil

Question:
I have a DV8 brutal collision and a storm DNA as the two current strongest balls in my bag, how will this ball stand out versus those two?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Out of the box this would react closer to the DNA due to the similar out of box finishes. The Brutal Collision had a compound finish to give it a little more length while this option and the DNA were duller to read earlier on the lanes. Also, the big difference will be the weight block is symmetric on this ball. They keep the weight block with an early read and high flare potential but the symmetric block will be a little more versatile and controllable compared to the asymmetric blocks usually seen in the higher performance lines.

Question:
How does this ball compare to the Raptor? I bought a Raptor a little over a year ago and love it. Would you carry boyh in your bag and what's the difference?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Hi Spike! These would be a great combo in your bag! The Motiv Raptor Fury would react earlier with more strength in the mid lane and control while the Motiv Sky Raptor would react later and power through heavy oil patterns.

Question:
How does the new fury compare to the Forge & theold raptor
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Out of the box the Raptor Fury will hook a little earlier than the Forge and because it starts reading a little earlier, it has a stronger overall hook. There have been several Raptors so I am not sure exactly which Raptor was the older one you were referring to but The Raptor Fury will be right up there with the strongest hooking options that Motiv has ever done.

Question:
I am a slower speed bowler looking to speed my shot up with a more aggressive ball. I currently throw hammer widow 2.0. would this be a good choice?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball should be a step up from the Widow 2.0 but it will have a similar reaction on the lanes. The solid coverstock and duller finish read earlier on the lanes to if you have a higher ball speed this should be able to still read the lanes earlier enough to give you a strong arcing hook.
