Tank YellowjacketThe new Tank Yellowjacket features the MCP cover stock with DURAMAX Technology. The cover will give you urethane look without being urethane. The Duramax Technology helps the ball resist lane shine. Out of the box it comes at 1000 and after 20 games the cover scanned at 1500. The Duramax Technology also allows the ball to to get traction even at higher finishes.
For speed and balanced bowlers this ball will be ideal on high friction surfaces.
When controlling the backend motion is needed the this ball is for you.
On THS fresh oil this ball reads early while maintaining energy through the pins.I would recommend this to a friend

FINALLY!
For whatever reason Urethane type products and my bowling style just don’t seem to mesh! Ive really never been able to figure out a way to make it work for me even as I watch other players continue to kill it using the same. Well Ive waited quite some time for a product that will SHAPE for me , the SR player the lower ball speed mid rev player and hook stop at my feet. For me the NEW Tank Yellow Jacket was that piece that amazingly provided that SHAPE on a variety of lane conditions and as I move through this years PBA50 season I feel will give me that one option I have been missing. In the short time ive been able to use it im amazed at the shape I can get with out the compete hook/stop that I have seen in my game previously. Stay tuned for more indepth reviews as I move through this season but for us senior challenged bowlers get ready for the RIDE!

How will this ball finish compared to storm mix

Answer:
There are several features about this ball that will give it more hook potential than the Storm Mix including a stronger coverstock, stronger weight block and duller finish. Also, this ball will read earlier on the lanes for a smoother reaction. The Mix is designed to mostly be a spare ball and have a straighter reaction but could give you some hook in very dry lane conditions while the Tank Yellowjacket will work well in lighter oil conditions to give you hook potential.
