Question:

What core in a 13 pound ball? Will it still be strong?

8/31/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The 13lb will still use the exact same cover stock but the weight block does change. The RG is 2.597 and the Diff is 0.041 . This weight block has a little less hook potential but overall this will still be a very strong ball.

Question:

How does this compare to the Columbia 300 Authority?

9/14/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This is a much different reaction than the Authority. The Command Solid has a duller finish and is designed to read the midlane strong for a more continuous hook down lane while the Authority goes longer on the lane for more backend hook. This also works in heavier oil better than the Authority.

Question:

How does this ball compare to the Evo solid

2/12/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Command Solid weight block will react a little later but has a slightly stronger flare potential down the lane. Aside from this, both bowling balls are high performance, have a solid coverstock, and have the same 1500 grit finish.

Question:

How does this ball compare to roto grip hyper cell

5/8/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are going to be pretty comparable. Both are high performance balls designed for heavy oil. Both have a solid coverstock with a duller finish to help the ball read earlier on the lanes for a smooth arcing hook. The Command Solid may go just a touch earlier but it may not be noticeable because they really are very very similar.

Question:

Which ball has the potential to go longer down the lane before it hook, Command or Power Torque?

5/27/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Command (solid) will react much earlier on the lane due to the Solid reactive coverstock and the duller out of the box finish. The Power Torq will go much longer with a pearl coverstock and compound out of box finish.
