Question:

how will this ball work if you do not have a fast release

Answer:

If you have a high ball speed you would want a ball that can get traction on the lane so the ball has enough time to react. This ball would give you good traction to match your high ball speed and work well in medium to heavy oil.

Question:

I am a full roller, 190 average, throw fairly hard, lanes fairly oily would this be a ball for me or recommend a different one

Answer:

This would be a great option and you would just need to have your driller put a full roller layout to match your style. This has a duller reaction to help it grip earlier on the lanes and with a high ball speed you probably need the ball start gripping earlier rather than later so it has time to hook on the lanes.

Question:

I am not a hard thrower is this a ball for me?

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you have a high rev rate and slower ball speed then this may not be a great option. However, if you have an average or lower rev rate and average to lower ball speed then you could still use this in heavier oil conditions. It reads in the midlane with a strong overall hook so you may prefer a ball with a longer read on the lane to help if you have a slower ball speed.

Question:

Does the 13lb ball have the same core as the 14-16lb balls?

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

No, the 13lb has a different weight block. Most bowling companies will change the weight block when you drop below 14lbs.
