Roto Grip X-Cell

The CELL is legendary among bowling balls, known for its game-changing Nucleus block design that suits all bowlers. Now, Roto Grip has made it even better with the new X-CELL. The X-CELL delivers enhanced performance and forgiveness with A.I. Core Technology and the eTrax ULTRA coverstock. This ball offers unparalleled midlane forgiveness and resilience on off-pocket hits, boosting your confidence. The updated Nucleus block, with lower RG and increased differential, ensures more midlane control and overall forgiveness. The A.I. Core technology amplifies these features, making the X-CELL ideal for any style of bowler. Roto Grip's eTrax ULTRA coverstock is ULTRA versatile, responsive, and predictable. It strikes a perfect balance between the early grip of MicroTrax and the length of eTrax PLUS, providing consistent performance on modern lanes. The Roto Grip X-CELL is your go-to ball for improved forgiveness and reliability.

Question:

How does this compare to the Eternity Pi?

6/25/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Both the Roto Grip X-Cell and 900 Global Eternity Pi are high performance balls with a solid reactive coverstock finished at 2000 grit. Depending on the weight you select may give you slightly different RG values but they are going to be pretty similar in overall hook potential and length.

Question:

Would this ball be good paired with the phaze 2

10/18/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you have several bowling balls in your arsenal then the X Cell would be a great starter ball when the lanes are the heaviest oil. The X-Cell is rated strictly for heavy oil only while the Phaze II is more for medium to heavy oil conditions. However, they both have a similar read on the lanes with an earlier mid lane read and smoother arcing hook because both have a solid reactive coverstock and duller finish. So because they read similar it will be an easier transition down to the Phaze II when the lanes start to dry down toward medium/heavy oil.
