Hammer Black Widow Gold

The Hammer Black Widow bowling balls keep rolling out and taking over the lanes. The Hammer Black Widow Gold takes Hammer's most angular coverstock, the Semtex Pearl, and pairs it with their most angular core, the Gas Mask, to create a ball that goes long and then offers a ton of backend motion when facing medium to heavy oil. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

Question:

Good for leftys?

8/22/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

With the correct drill pattern and specs alignment you could get this to perform just as well for a left hander as a right hander. You may check with your driller to see what to request for the specs to make sure you get a good layout for this ball to be drilled left handed.

Question:

My ball was drilled with the pin above and between my middle and ring fingers. Is this what you call a pin up layout? What would be the ball reaction if the pin is above my ring finger only? Thanks

9/18/2019 - By

Answer:

For more information about the drilling patterns and the reaction you would get you can visit Hammer Bowling directly to view the drilling sheets. This was an asymmetric ball so click the asymmetric drill sheet to see more details: https://hammerbowling.com/pages/drill-sheets

Question:

Are these a 1st run, no blemish or flaws?

9/26/2019 - By

This ball is a first quality ball. When Hammer is making room for newer releases they will discontinue making an older ball to make room. This ball is being discontinued by Hammer but the ones in stock were all still first quality.

Question:

How do you drill these balls without me being there? Also is drill protection if someone else drills it? What is the protection?

9/28/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The only way we can do the drilling is if you already have your drilling measurements. We have a drill sheet that we ask you to fill out when you select our drilling and if you are not able to fill out the drill sheet then we could not do the drilling. If you select drilling protection then that covers the ball while it is being drilled by your local proshop and if Bowling.com is not drilling the ball.

Question:

what specs are left for 16lbs looking for top weight and pin layout specs

10/16/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Unfortunately we are not able to see the specs for each ball in stock. We would have to place the order and list the specs on the order so that when this is sent over for packaging the warehouse can check for the specs. If we have the specs you wanted it will ship out. If not, we will call you before shipping to go over what we have and you may proceed or cancel at that time.

Question:

Would this make for a good first ball for someone who throws no thumb and one handed

11/20/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you were getting into a league then this could be a good option. This needs medium to heavier oil and on your typical open bowling nights it will be lighter to drier oil. If you are a no thumb bowler you probably have a higher rev rate so this will be good because it gets good length on the lanes before it hooks so it will give you a strong angular backend hook.
