Hammer's clear polyester bowling balls are created by embedding an image on the core of the ball and covering it with a clear outer shell. With this technology the image on the ball cannot be damaged by sanding, scratching, or scuffing!

Hi Michele! The manufacturer usually only produces them for about 1-2 years and then they typically discontinue them to make room for new balls in their product line.
