Roto Grip Exotic Gem

Following the success of the original Gem, Roto Grip presents the Exotic Gem. This high-performance ball utilizes the pearl version of the MicroTrax coverstock and pairs it with the same Defiant LRG core. This core and cover combo produces a ball that will skid through the front part of the lane then dig into the middle of the lane then produce powerful continuation at the back of the lane. The Roto Grip Exotic Gem is a high-end asymmetric pearl ball that performs best on medium/heavy oiled lanes.

Question:

Hi I'm trying to buy this, is this ball drilled or pre-drilled

11/12/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This bowling ball will not have any finger holes. If we offer a drilling option for an extra fee you could select this to get the holes drilled by us but otherwise you would have to get the ball drilled at a local proshop after you receive the ball.

Hello, both options would be a great compliment to the Phaze II while the Exotic Gem would react slightly earlier and more aggressively than the IQ Tour Ruby.

Question:

Do the 13lb and 15lb balls have the same core

Answer:

No, the Defiant LRG weight block is only in the 14-16lbs and there is a modified weight block in the 12-13lb weights. Here is a link to the Roto Grip site showing the difference in the weight block when you drop below 14lbs: https://www.stormbowling.com/magic-gem-bbmrig12
