Question:

I have a two part question. 1. I have a rst x3, how does the magic gem compare to that ball? 2. I also have a storm summit, would the magic gem compliment the summit and the rst x3?

Answer:

The Magic Gem would essentially be the Storm Summit turned up to 11. It has very similar features and finish out of the box but with just slightly more hook potential. Compared to the RST X3, the Magic Gem will read earlier and have a stronger over all hook potential. Both the RST X3 and the Summit are considered upper mid performance while the Magic Gem is listed as high performance. So if you needing something a little stronger than your summit for heavier conditions as your first ball out of the bag, you could start with the Magic Gem and transition as the lanes dry a little through the night.

Question:

If I star with a Phaze 2 and then ball down. into a polished magic gem what would be a good ball to fit below this ball? I’ve looked at the attention star and Virtual Energy blackout . My rev rate is around 400 and my speed is at 18 mph

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Phaze 2 and Magic Gem are both rated for medium to heavier oil conditions. The Virtual Energy Blackout will be very comparable to the Magic Gem so you would not get much difference in performance there. The Attention Star may be just slightly less hook than the Magic Gem but it would be a small step down. If you really need something for lighter conditions by the end of the night you may even consider going to the IQ Tour Ruby.
