Trouble Maker Pearl
The DV8 Trouble Maker Pearl is very versatile. I drilled this ball to give me a different shape and look with a 60 x 5 x 45. This ball motion reminds me of the old Hammer Black Widow Bite. You get a little length out of the bowling ball but it has a strong controlled backend motion. It allows me to play and stay right on a regular house shot and move left as needed as the lane transitions. This ball looked great out of the box, but I took it a step further and rubbed it with a 2000 pad and gave me more versatility.

Pros:
Clean, Sideways
Cons:
Heavy oil
Best Uses:

Not Just For Two-Handers
The shiny pearl the DV8 Brand has been missing. I’m right-handed with thumb in and this ball goes sideways off the friction. Best place to use it I’ve found in when the lanes transition and you want to open those angles, The technology in this ball might be designed for two-handers but this works very well for the traditionalist.

Believe the Hype….AGAIN!!!
I am very proud to introduce to you the newest addition to the DV8 line, the DV8 Troublemaker Pearl. Like its original predecessor, the DV8 Troublemaker Pearl is designed for bowlers of the new bowling revolution…2-Handed Bowlers and bowlers who do not use a thumb. Like the original Troublemaker, the ball has the same symmetrical core, but doesn’t roll like a typical symmetrical ball. I put a similar layout in the Troublemaker Pearl to compare the ball reactions with a simple stacked layout with the pin and the CG in alignment. The ball reaction is simply amazing. You get a little bit more length out of the ball, but the ball reaction is amazing! Pins just don’t jump around, but still seem to collapse in on themselves. The difference which sets this ball apart from other balls is its uniquely large core design. As I said before, I am a HUGE fan of larger core bowling balls because they typically roll much better for bowlers with higher speeds and rev rates. The ball works much better on medium to heavy oil and compliments the original Troublemaker very well. For those of us that use a thumb, the new Troublemaker Pearl is a dynamic compliment to the original, giving any bowler at various levels a unique bowling ball experience. For 2-handed and 2-finger bowlers, this is another incredible ball that compliments the original and is definitely a must have in your bag. DV8 keeps on creating innovation in bowling equipment and has done it again with the new DV8 Troublemaker Pearl. If you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling!!!

Length and backend
Love this ball! I drilled mine with max length and hook potential. This ball even on fresh I can either play down the 10 board or move inside and still has enough energy to make it backs. This ball quickly became my benchmark ball! Highly recommend this ball to anyone looking to play multiple angles with one ball. So happy with it so far! Can’t wait to use it at the PBA level! Recommend this ball for every level player

Question:
Would the trouble maker pearl fit perfectly after the phaze two?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The DV8 Trouble Maker Pearl will give you more length and works better down in medium oil than the Phaze II so this could be a great option to transition to as the lane conditions dry out.

Question:
What is the most versatile the zen gold label, trouble maker pearl, sublime,or xponent pearl?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
These options do have some similarities to mention first. They all are designed to give you good length and a strong backend hook and they work across medium to some heavy oil conditions which is versatile. The Trouble Maker Pearl is listed as a high performance ball which would normally be a higher hook potential and handle more oil than the mid performance and upper mid performance lines. However, the features on this are designed to actually make this work very well in medium oil and that would put this ball in the running of being the most versatile in this group. It is a very close toss up between this and the Zen Gold Label in my opinion as both of these will the most lane conditions and both give you good length and strong backend hook.
