Coming from the 3G Tour Ultras, I no longer felt like the Tour Ultras were the correct fit or choice. The Alpha TPC immediately stirred my interest, given the modern and 'athletic' design. After two weeks, they have provided a surprising amount of stability. The knitted upper of the shoe are soft to the touch, but delicately firm. As the knitted upper goes into the midsole and midfoot, more support is added around the shoes by what I assume is a firmer rubber. The eyelets for the shoelaces are a bit of a pain if you wish to swap the laces, as the eyelets and eyerow have a thick layer of rubber. This great for durability, but a nightmare for swapping or replacing laces when needed. The heel has amazing support, and the toe cap has additional rubber around the front to help protect your toes and toecap overall. As for shoe size, my feet are about 28cm in length, and 12cm wide. I naturally ordered 10½, but upon receiving the shoes, they fit more like an 11 from what I could feel. Noting this, I used the True Fit Guarantee for a size swap, and opted for the 9½ which fit snug, give my toes enough room in the front, and stability from the sides. I'd recommend the True Fit upon ordering, just in case. I do wish bowling shoes should have sizing charts with centimeters along with the conversions available. I had to play the same game with my 3G Tour Ultras, and I found that a size 10 was the best fit.
