The Attention Star will give you a great backend reaction and has a similar pearl coverstock like the Dark Code but the Attention Star will have a slightly lower hook potential which makes it work better in medium oil conditions versus the Dark Code which worked more in heavier conditions.

Question:

How dies this ball compare to ion pro and virtual energy blackout for a 2 hander with high revs and slow speed. Which ball out of the bag would this be?

6/25/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Attention Star is a high performance ball with a pearl coverstock and polished gloss finish to help give this ball a lot of length and sharp angular backend hook. If the conditions are right on any given night this could be your first ball out of the bag. This is a small step down from the Blackout in terms over overall hook potential and they are very close in performance so they would compliment each other pretty well.

Question:

How would the attention star compare to a black widow 2.0 and a Night Road?

7/4/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Attention Star would actually fit between the Widow 2.0 and Night Road. It has a stronger hook potential than the Night Road but not quite as strong as the Widow 2.0. It reads later than the Widow 2.0 but not quite as long as the Night Road. So this would fit in between the other two options.

Question:

Would the Attention Star be similar to the Roto Grip Clone?

9/21/2024 - By

The Attention Star will actually have more length and overall less hook potential than the Clone which will then make the Attention Star more suited for medium oil while the Clone can handle heavier oil conditions.

Question:

How would the attention star compare to the widow 2.0 hybrid and nuclear forge?

9/30/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Attention Star will have good length which is similar to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid and Nuclear Forge but the weight block on the Attention Star will have less flare potential and this will help the Attention Star work better in medium conditions while the other two need more oil to really perform optimally. If your needing a good benchmark ball or versatile all around use ball the Attention Star is a great option.

Question:

How does this compare to the ebonite one reverb

10/23/2024 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The key difference in this ball and the Ebonite One Reverb is the the weight block. The Attention Star has a higher performance asymmetric weight block and this along with the other features help give the Attention Star more length but a sharper backend hook. The Ebonite One Reverb will also have good length but reads a little earlier than the Attention Star and may actually have more overall hook helping that work into some heavier oil also.
