Roto Grip Idol Pro
The Roto Grip Idol Pro uses the Ikon core that changed the perception of the HP3 line for Roto Grip. This core has a low RG symmetrical shape with high differential that generates flare as well as awesome motion down the lane and on through the pin deck. The Idol Pro introduces the eTrax-S19 Solid Reactive coverstock which was designed to offer more traction on oil without reacting too early. This cover is finished with a 3000 grit Sheen. The solid coverstock with a sheen finish allows this ball to get through the front of the lane with a controlled reaction at the breakpoint on medium to medium/heavy oil conditions.

What is the difference between the idol pro and the regular idol?

Question:
What’s the difference between idol pro and the storm pro motion
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Storm Pro-Motion was a high performance ball with a slightly duller finish out-of-the-box so it was made more for heavier oil and it would be a little stronger overall. The Idol Pro goes a little longer than the Pro-Motion but it is more versatile to handle medium to heavy oil conditions. Both are meant to read the midlanes well and have a strong continuous hook.

Question:
What would be the difference between Idol Pro and a Phaze 2
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball is very very similar to the Phaze II down to have the same exact out-of-box finish and they are both upper mid performance balls with solid coverstocks for medium to heavy oil.

Question:
hi just bought a phase3, love this ball, my question is how would a idol pro. i stand on the 37brd and my targetbrd is the 10 arrow. throw bout 15mph, dont put alot of fingers into the ball. thx for the help
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Idol Pro would react earlier on the lanes and have a smoother arcing hooking while the Phaze III was designed to longer and have a sharper backend hook. The Idol Pro could be used in a little heavier conditions than the Phaze III and as the night goes on and the Idol Pro starts hooking to much for your style then you could change to the Phaze III.

Question:
How does the Idol Pro compare to the Storm OG Hyroad and the 900 Global Boost Pearl?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Idol Pro is designed to read more in the midlane and have a smooth arcing hook down the lane. Because it was an upper mid performance it would work in medium to heavier oil similar to the HyRoad but the HyRoad was designed to go a little longer on the lanes. As for the 900 Global Boost Pearl, it was considered an entry level ball for lighter oil and it will go very long on the lanes with a sharp backend.

Question:
Would this ball be ideal for a tweener with 14-15mph ball speed?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This could be a great option for you. You have a pretty average ball speed and tweeners have an average rev rate so you have a wide variety of options that could work for you. This will give you pretty decent length with a smooth backend finish.

Question:
I am a straight bowler. Does this ball allow for straight bowling?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball is designed for someone needing the ball to hook. If you throw the ball straight it will go pretty straight but if you want a straight ball you can get a much less expensive option that will go straighter than this. You may search our website for the spare ball category to get the straight ball options there.

Question:
What ball would u suggest that reacts like a fresh idol pro after it settles in? Loved my idol pro but it has settled down after tons of usage. Still good just not as great as it was in the beginning
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
I would suggest the Roto Grip UFO which is a high performance ball versus the Idol Pro which is an upper mid performance. The UFO will be stronger but after it settles down some it would be closer to what the Idol Pro was brand new.
