Question:
How does this compare to the Eternity Pi?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Both the Roto Grip X-Cell and 900 Global Eternity Pi are high performance balls with a solid reactive coverstock finished at 2000 grit. Depending on the weight you select may give you slightly different RG values but they are going to be pretty similar in overall hook potential and length.

Question:
Would this ball be good paired with the phaze 2
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
If you have several bowling balls in your arsenal then the X Cell would be a great starter ball when the lanes are the heaviest oil. The X-Cell is rated strictly for heavy oil only while the Phaze II is more for medium to heavy oil conditions. However, they both have a similar read on the lanes with an earlier mid lane read and smoother arcing hook because both have a solid reactive coverstock and duller finish. So because they read similar it will be an easier transition down to the Phaze II when the lanes start to dry down toward medium/heavy oil.

Question:
how strong is this compared to my magic gem
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The X-Cell and Magic Gem will have some similarities where both were high performance, both could handle medium to heavy oil conditions, and both came with an out of the box finish of 2000 grit. However, the solid coverstock on the X-Cell and the stronger weight block will give this a slight edge to have a stronger overall hook potential of the two.
