Question:

Hi, since the 13lb has a different, "generic core" do you know if that ball will perform the same as a 14lb or higher? I pretty new at bowling especially with having a ball drilled to use fingertips. I'm coming from the Hammer flawless, but I had an 11lb ball. That ball, which I've been told due to it's weight and the overall ball didn't hook as much as the black widow pink would. I've also been told that I should move up to a 13lb ball. So I was looking at the 13lb widow but don't want to run into the same problem as before with the flawless, not performing at it's best due to the core and weight.

8/12/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

It will react differently with a 13lb ball than a 14-16lb ball would.

Question:

Is the pink widow good in a 12lb ball?

11/6/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The weight block has to change when you drop down to 12lbs but there is still a performance weight block in the 12lb weight and it still has the exact same cover as the heavier weights so you would still get a great performance ball.

Question:

How would this ball compare to the IQ Emerald?

2/11/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Widow Pink has a stronger Asymmetric weight block in the 14-16lb balls that gives it more hook potential than the IQ Emerald. The Widow Pink is rated for medium to heavy oil while the Emerald is more suited for medium oil only.
